Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Engineer to lead our offline data warehouse modeling and architecture optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining high-availability public intermediate layers to support our growing business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Offline Data Warehouse Modeling: Lead dimensional modeling and architectural restructuring of offline data warehouses based on business development requirements, establishing and maintaining highly available public intermediate layers.
- Data Governance & Quality: Spearhead the establishment of data quality assurance systems and implement data governance standards.
- Cross-system Data Reconciliation: Responsible for variance verification across systems (including financial reconciliation and timestamp synchronization) and unifying core data standards.
- Semantic Layer Development: Drive the construction and maintenance of unified semantic layers to lower data access barriers for business users and prepare underlying data structures for future AI Agent integration.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize existing batch processing tasks to improve offline data warehouse output efficiency and resource utilization, addressing business demand backlogs.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of data warehouse development experience, with proven track record in building data warehouses from scratch (0→1) or scaling (1→10) in trading or e-commerce platforms.
- Expertise in Alibaba Cloud big data components (MaxCompute, DataWorks) and advanced SQL skills with exceptional complex task optimization capabilities.
- Deep understanding of dimensional modeling theory, able to abstract complex business logic (user lifecycle, derivative contracts, etc.) into clear data models.
- Mandatory cryptocurrency industry experience, with preference given to candidates familiar with exchange core business logic.
- Exceptional data acumen and rigor with uncompromising commitment to data accuracy.
