Job Description
As a Project Manager for our centralized exchange (CEX) platform, you will play a pivotal role in driving complex technical projects from conception to successful delivery. Your expertise in financial technology and exchange operations will be critical in aligning cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Understanding & Strategic Planning: Deeply comprehend CEX core business logic including trading engines, asset settlement, wallet systems, KYC/AML processes, and risk control strategies. Define project scope and implementation paths based on business goals.
- End-to-End Project Management: Develop clear project plans, milestones, resource allocation, and delivery standards. Oversee all phases including R&D, testing, and deployment while coordinating internal teams and external vendors.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify technical, compliance, security and resource risks. Establish contingency plans and early warning mechanisms for critical paths to prevent major delivery failures.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as the central hub for information flow across product, engineering, risk, compliance and operations teams. Provide transparent executive updates on project status and roadblocks.
- User-Centric Delivery: Incorporate market feedback and user behavior data to optimize trading flows, asset operations, and onboarding experiences. Advocate for user-focused delivery standards.
- Problem Resolution: Track issues throughout testing, canary releases, and production operations. Drive timely resolutions and conduct post-mortems to improve team efficiency.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years project management experience in fintech or internet companies, with mandatory CEX or high-frequency trading system exposure
- Comprehensive understanding of CEX architecture (matching engine, settlement, wallets, risk control, KYC/AML) with ability to engage in technical discussions
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies and tools like Jira/Confluence/Notion
- Strong risk awareness, logical thinking and execution capability in complex environments
- Excellent cross-department communication and executive reporting skills
- Professional English proficiency for international team collaboration
