Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to develop and maintain industry and event databases, ensuring all relevant events are tracked and communicated effectively. This role involves close collaboration with the Events Manager to meet project needs and support event marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain industry and event databases, regularly researching and adding new events as they are announced.
- Create and maintain an events calendar, ensuring all project needs are tracked and met in collaboration with the Events Manager.
- Create content for PR releases and maintain communication with vendors and media regarding PR plans and project milestones before, during, and after events.
- Research and add regional and global media vendors to meet potential project needs.
- Coordinate discovery calls with event organizers to identify earned and sponsored opportunities, and prepare summary briefs for internal and client review.
- Pitch organizers for earned event speaking opportunities and prepare key messaging briefs and media training as needed.
- Assist the Events Manager in negotiating sponsorships for clients.
- Collaborate with the client services team and Events VP to develop scalable event marketing practices.
- Act as a liaison between the Events Manager and event organizers, attendees, clients, venues, suppliers, producers, and vendors to communicate project details and deadlines.
- Provide on-site support and travel as needed for large event activations.
Job Requirements
