Job Description
This role focuses on maintaining existing client relationships while actively expanding new client acquisition in the financial and cryptocurrency sectors. The position requires a strategic approach to client management and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with VIP clients, mid-to-high net worth individuals, and payment card holders through personalized investment advice and tailored services.
- Client Services: Provide one-on-one support including rapid response to asset deposit/withdrawal issues, transaction anomalies, new coin listings, API connectivity, and recommend suitable financial products.
- Client Profiling: Develop comprehensive client profiles documenting key preferences and behavioral patterns.
- Business Development: Proactively acquire new clients through existing client referrals, online campaigns, industry events, and community outreach.
- Investment Advisory: Deliver customized asset allocation strategies based on client risk profiles and financial objectives.
- Promotional Activities: Facilitate client participation in platform initiatives including referral programs, deposit competitions, and trading tournaments.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all sales activities adhere to local regulatory requirements including KYC and AML protocols.
- Client Analysis: Evaluate transaction data and product usage patterns to generate actionable insights for product enhancement.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports summarizing client information, performance analysis, and growth strategies for management review.
- Product Customization: Develop bespoke solutions for premium clients including API rate limit adjustments and VIP rebate structures.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with product design, risk management, and operations teams to optimize client investment processes.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Computer Science or related field. CFA, CFP, blockchain certifications or securities/fund qualifications preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years in financial services, cryptocurrency industry or client relationship management, with preference given to candidates with high-net-worth or institutional client experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology (including DeFi and Layer2 solutions), and trading mechanisms.
- Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with global financial regulations (SEC, MiCA, SFC frameworks).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional negotiation and relationship management capabilities to address complex client needs.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken), with additional languages (Korean, Japanese) considered advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Resilience to thrive in volatile market conditions, collaborative mindset for cross-departmental projects, and data-driven analytical approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as account manager/sales representative in crypto exchanges, blockchain projects or fintech firms
- Established network within financial circles (high-net-worth individuals, traditional investors, family offices)
