Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with institutional business expertise to expand and maintain our global institutional client ecosystem, including brokers, asset management institutions, and professional trading teams. This role will deeply participate in platform liquidity construction, institutional client growth, and core partnership management, working closely with product, operations, technology, and compliance teams to drive continuous growth in institutional business scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead institutional business expansion and liquidity ecosystem development, sourcing and onboarding high-quality institutional clients.
- Manage key institutional client relationships and long-term partnerships to enhance retention and overall engagement.
- Identify and address client needs to foster deeper business collaborations and drive platform revenue growth.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to facilitate KYC, account opening, and partnership implementation processes.
- Work closely with product, technology, operations, and customer support teams to resolve client issues and optimize user experience.
- Monitor industry trends, market competition, and emerging developments to refine institutional business strategies and product direction.
- Execute institutional user growth and business expansion projects to achieve team KPIs and business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher with 3+ years in institutional business development, key account management, or related sales experience.
- Prior experience working with institutional brokers or investment firms.
- Familiarity with institutional ecosystems, including liquidity, market making, API trading, derivatives, or quantitative trading.
- Strong institutional client acquisition and negotiation skills, with existing client resources being a plus.
- Demonstrated track record of achievements in institutional client growth and revenue expansion.
- Results-driven with excellent problem-solving, cross-team collaboration, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in English as a working language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing institutional network resources.
- Experience in derivatives, prime brokerage, or liquidity-related services.
- Knowledge of institutional API trading workflows.
- Experience in global team collaboration or overseas market expansion.
- Prior experience in building institutional business from scratch or regional market development.
