Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Community Manager to set the tone and culture of our community, ensuring it remains welcoming, helpful, and mission-driven. You will be the bridge between SkyTrade and its users, fostering genuine conversations and maintaining a positive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the tone and culture of the community—welcoming, helpful, and mission-driven.
- Monitor channels in real time, engaging with users, answering questions, diffusing FUD, and fostering genuine conversation.
- Flag critical feedback, bugs, or insights and bring them back to the team.
- Moderate discussions to ensure healthy, inclusive dialogue and enforce community rules.
- Create, post, and pin updates that keep the community informed, hyped, and activated.
- Work closely with marketing and ops teams to coordinate campaigns, AMAs, partnerships, announcements, and events.
- Activate power users and mods. Identify community advocates, contributors, and future ambassadors.
- Use your instincts and tools to grow the community with high-signal users.
- Propose ways to improve our community infrastructure—bots, automations, incentives, events, gamification, etc.
- Be available during high-traffic periods, especially around launches, announcements, or partner activations.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in community management or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with users in real-time and diffuse tense situations.
- Experience with community moderation tools and platforms.
- Creative mindset with the ability to propose and implement community growth strategies.
- Availability to work during high-traffic periods and events.
- Passion for fostering inclusive and mission-driven communities.
