Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to engage Korean users across platforms like Kakao, Naver, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, with a focus on increasing brand visibility and user interaction.
 - Create and curate high-quality, culturally relevant content tailored to Korean audience preferences, including visual assets, videos, and interactive posts, while maintaining brand voice and messaging consistency.
 - Monitor and manage the brand's online reputation in real-time, analyzing sentiment trends and addressing customer concerns promptly to uphold brand integrity and trust.
 - Adapt global marketing campaigns for the Korean market by incorporating local cultural nuances, ensuring messaging aligns with regional values and consumer behaviors.
 - Coordinate with PR agencies and media partners to plan and distribute press releases, sponsored articles, and other content that maximizes brand exposure and media coverage.
 - Identify and evaluate opportunities for partnership expansion with local advertising channels, including influencer collaborations, brand ambassador programs, and content co-creation initiatives.
 - Conduct regular performance analysis of social media metrics, brand reputation indicators, and market engagement data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
 - Ensure all translated materials and localized content meet high-quality standards through rigorous proofreading, editing, and cultural validation processes.
 - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives and maintain a cohesive brand strategy across all touchpoints.
 - Stay updated on Korean market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
 
Job Requirements
- Native or fluent proficiency in Korean, with strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate messaging.
 - Proven experience in social media management, brand reputation monitoring, and content localization within the Korean market, preferably in the tech, e-commerce, or entertainment sectors.
 - Excellent analytical skills to interpret social media metrics, customer feedback, and market data, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
 - Strong understanding of Korean digital platforms, including KakaoTalk, Naver Blog, and YouTube Korea, and their unique user engagement patterns.
 - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on maintaining deadlines and quality standards for content creation and localization tasks.
 - Knowledge of SEO best practices, content calendar planning, and audience segmentation techniques to optimize marketing effectiveness.
 - Experience in working with PR agencies, media partners, and influencers to execute successful brand campaigns and secure media placements.
 - Proficiency in English and Chinese to ensure seamless translation and communication between global and local teams.
 - Excellent problem-solving skills to address brand reputation crises, content localization challenges, and market entry obstacles.
