Job Description
This position is pivotal in shaping the growth and engagement of our DeFi project's community. As a Technical Community Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive strategies to expand our online presence and foster a vibrant, active community. The role requires proactive management of our project channels across Discord and Telegram, while also identifying and leveraging other social platforms to enhance our reach. You will cultivate a strong sense of community around our brand, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring alignment with our project's vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to build and grow our online community, focusing on both organic and targeted growth initiatives.
- Actively manage and optimize project channels on Discord and Telegram, while exploring and integrating other social platforms to broaden our community footprint.
- Identify and empower active community members, creating opportunities for them to contribute meaningfully and advance within the ecosystem.
- Monitor and analyze community feedback systematically, ensuring timely and effective responses to inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align community initiatives with broader project objectives, including roadmap milestones and product development cycles.
- Design and execute community-driven activities such as AMAs, Q&A sessions, and thematic campaigns to maintain engagement and excitement.
- Establish and maintain a moderation framework, ensuring community guidelines are enforced and that the platform remains a safe, inclusive space for all participants.
- Track community metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of engagement efforts and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in community management, preferably within the blockchain or DeFi space, with a strong track record of growing online communities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences and build rapport with community members.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple channels and initiatives simultaneously while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Discord, Telegram, Twitter, etc.) and familiarity with community tools for moderation and analytics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy alignment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address community concerns and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.
- Knowledge of DeFi protocols, blockchain technology, and related concepts to provide accurate and relevant support to the community.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills being a plus for global community engagement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude towards innovation and community development.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret community data and measure the impact of engagement strategies on user retention and growth.
