Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse infrastructure to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct business data research, requirement understanding, and analysis
- Establish data models and design data themes based on business needs
- Write ETL processes for data models and participate in team ETL process optimization
- Solve ETL-related technical problems and improve data processing efficiency
- Understand business-side data requirements and provide business-oriented data services (OLAP, reports, data extraction)
- Develop data governance standards and establish processes for data analysis work
- Manage data platform operations including data standardization, metadata management, and data quality management
- Participate in the design and review of data products
- Improve data quality monitoring systems and ensure SLA compliance for data warehouse indicators
- Support business data requirements and problem-solving to enhance platform capabilities
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data warehouse development and ETL processes
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling techniques
- Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
- Knowledge of OLAP technologies and business intelligence tools
- Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders
- Ability to optimize data processes based on user experience and performance metrics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based data warehouse solutions (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, etc.)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in data analytics
- Certification in relevant data management or business intelligence technologies
