Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of multiple blockchain protocols (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain) to enhance wallet compatibility and functionality across different networks.
• Design and develop wallet interfaces, including user-facing frontend components and backend APIs, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless cross-chain interactions.
• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of wallet services, including monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability.
• Conduct continuous research on emerging blockchain technologies, attend industry conferences, and maintain awareness of innovations in decentralized finance (DeFi) and cryptographic protocols.
• Implement advanced security measures to protect user assets, such as encryption algorithms, multi-factor authentication, and regular security audits to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, security analysts, DevOps engineers) to align wallet development with business goals and technical requirements.
• Document technical processes, maintain code quality, and ensure adherence to best practices in blockchain development and software engineering.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers, mentor team members, and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the organization.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements related to blockchain technologies to ensure legal adherence in wallet operations.
• Participate in the design and testing of wallet features, including user authentication, transaction signing, and cross-chain asset transfers.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in blockchain development, with a strong background in designing and implementing wallet systems for at least two major blockchain networks.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Solidity, JavaScript, Python, or Go, with hands-on experience in developing decentralized applications (DApps).
• Deep understanding of cryptographic principles, including public-key infrastructure, hashing algorithms, and secure data storage techniques.
• Knowledge of blockchain consensus mechanisms, smart contract development, and cross-chain interoperability solutions (e.g., atomic swaps, bridges).
• Experience with wallet development frameworks (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet) and tools for managing blockchain transactions and private keys.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges related to wallet performance, security, and user experience in decentralized environments.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues in blockchain protocols, ensuring compatibility and reliability across different networks.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, document technical specifications, and present solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with blockchain analytics tools and monitoring systems to track wallet activity, detect anomalies, and ensure system integrity.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with a focus on blockchain technologies and distributed systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in blockchain development, with a track record of delivering scalable wallet solutions.
• Certifications in blockchain development (e.g., Certified Blockchain Developer, Ethereum Developer Certificate) or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISA) are highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate technical risks, design secure systems, and optimize wallet performance in high-stakes environments.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and collaborative tools (e.g., Jira, Git) to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SEC guidelines) and compliance requirements for blockchain-based financial services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve complex technical objectives and drive innovation in blockchain wallet development.
• Excellent time management skills to balance multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure continuous improvement of wallet systems.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest) and debugging tools to ensure wallet reliability and security across different platforms.
• Experience with blockchain governance models and community engagement strategies to align wallet development with user needs and industry standards.
