Job Description
As a DeFi Trading Product Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle management of trading solutions within the Onchain wallet ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in designing and implementing innovative trading products that align with the evolving needs of decentralized finance users. You will lead the development of comprehensive product strategies, ensuring seamless integration with blockchain technologies and smart contract systems. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and data analysts to deliver high-quality trading features that enhance user experience and drive market adoption. You will also monitor industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in the DeFi space.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed product roadmaps for DeFi trading features, including spot trading, index products, and derivatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and user requirements
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate complex trading requirements into technical specifications and oversee the implementation of product solutions
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, user pain points, and opportunities for product innovation in the DeFi trading sector
- Coordinate with product operations to ensure smooth launch and post-launch optimization of trading products, monitoring performance metrics and user feedback
- Design and maintain efficient PRD (Product Requirement Document) templates that standardize the development process across front-end and back-end systems
- Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure all trading products meet regulatory requirements and adhere to security best practices
- Lead the creation of user-centric trading interfaces that prioritize usability, accessibility, and security while maintaining a seamless blockchain integration
- Develop and implement product analytics frameworks to track key performance indicators such as trade volume, user engagement, and conversion rates
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling product narratives and support the launch of new trading features through targeted campaigns
- Ensure the feasibility of technical solutions by working closely with engineering leads to evaluate scalability, security, and performance requirements
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management within the DeFi or blockchain industry, with a proven track record of successfully launching trading products
- Strong understanding of DeFi protocols, smart contract development, and blockchain architecture, including experience with Ethereum, BSC, or other major blockchains
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable product insights
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining PRD documents that clearly define product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality trading solutions
- Experience with agile development methodologies and the ability to manage product timelines effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present product strategies to stakeholders and collaborate with technical teams on implementation details
- Knowledge of trading algorithms, order book systems, and market data feeds to ensure accurate product design and functionality
- Ability to evaluate the feasibility of technical solutions and make informed decisions about product development priorities
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve product-related challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or Excel to support product decision-making and performance tracking
- Experience with user experience (UX) design principles and the ability to create intuitive trading interfaces that meet user needs
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks relevant to DeFi trading products
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and deliverables
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines while ensuring thorough product testing and validation
- Knowledge of blockchain security best practices and the ability to implement secure trading solutions that protect user assets
- Experience with decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and the ability to integrate trading products with existing DEX infrastructure
- Ability to collaborate with legal teams to ensure all trading products comply with relevant laws and regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide junior product managers and mentor cross-functional teams
