Job Description
The Senior VFX Artist is responsible for creating high-quality visual effects in real-time environments. This role requires hands-on experience with the entire VFX pipeline from concept to final delivery, specifically within Unreal Engine 5. The candidate will design and implement complex visual effects using a combination of technical and artistic expertise, ensuring seamless integration into game projects. Key responsibilities include developing creative solutions for visual storytelling, optimizing performance for real-time rendering, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. The artist will also create and maintain realistic production timelines, ensuring consistent delivery of work that meets or exceeds quality standards. This position involves working on a variety of VFX techniques such as 3D modeling, particle systems, physics simulations, ribbons, flip books, and more. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering completed software projects as a VFX artist and will demonstrate expertise in authoring custom materials and graphics shaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute visual effects that enhance the overall game experience, focusing on real-time performance and visual fidelity.
- Collaborate with artists, animators, and engineers to ensure VFX align with creative vision and technical requirements.

- Conduct technical troubleshooting to resolve issues related to VFX integration, rendering, or performance.

Job Requirements
- Proven experience in real-time VFX creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in Unreal Engine 5.
- Expertise in technical setup, integration, and troubleshooting of VFX systems within Unreal Engine 5.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Maya, Photoshop, and in-engine FX tools.
- Ability to author custom materials and graphics shaders to achieve specific visual effects.
- Strong understanding of particle systems, physics simulations, and other VFX techniques.
- Experience in managing and mentoring teams, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire others.
