Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a cross-functional technical team of 10+ members, ensuring the timely delivery of complex blockchain-based gaming projects while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to define technical requirements, architect scalable solutions, and implement cutting-edge blockchain technologies such as smart contracts, decentralized identity systems, and NFT marketplaces.
- Monitor emerging trends in blockchain innovation, including consensus algorithms, privacy-preserving techniques, and cross-chain interoperability, to identify opportunities for product optimization and competitive differentiation.
- Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance during high-level decision-making sessions with the founding team, contributing to long-term roadmap planning and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the development lifecycle from concept to deployment, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory compliance in blockchain applications.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and with external partners, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence in blockchain development.
- Manage technical budgets and resources, prioritizing initiatives that maximize ROI while maintaining system security and user privacy.
- Lead the integration of blockchain technology with existing gaming infrastructure, ensuring compatibility, scalability, and seamless user experiences across all platforms.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a technical leader in blockchain development, with a minimum of 8 years in designing and implementing decentralized systems for gaming or fintech industries.
- Advanced proficiency in blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Solana) and programming languages such as Solidity, Rust, and Python, with hands-on experience in smart contract development and cryptographic protocols.
- Strong background in distributed systems architecture, including consensus mechanisms, node management, and blockchain scalability solutions, with demonstrated success in deploying production-grade blockchain platforms.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior developers.
- Deep understanding of blockchain security best practices, including zero-knowledge proofs, secure key management, and audit trails, with experience in mitigating vulnerabilities in decentralized applications.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with external partners, including blockchain consultants, game developers, and regulatory experts, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, optimize system performance, and balance innovation with operational stability.
- Knowledge of gaming industry trends and user behavior, with experience in developing blockchain solutions that enhance player engagement and monetization strategies.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Blockchain Technology, or related field, along with certifications such as Certified Blockchain Developer (CBD) or Blockchain Security Professional (BSP).
- Fluency in English and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with tight deadlines and evolving requirements.
