Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify research companies and institutions with interest in adopting crypto/web3 services, prioritizing those that align with Aptos' strategic goals.
 - Lead the evaluation and selection of high-impact partners, ensuring they meet technical, operational, and market criteria for successful collaboration.
 - Develop and execute comprehensive partner onboarding strategies, including negotiation of terms, contract management, and relationship maintenance.
 - Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and executive teams to align business objectives with technological capabilities and market demands.
 - Monitor partner performance and deliver regular strategic updates to stakeholders, ensuring continuous value creation and mission advancement.
 - Identify emerging trends in the crypto/web3 space and translate them into actionable business strategies for new product development and market expansion.
 - Represent Aptos in high-stakes negotiations with potential partners, demonstrating expertise in blockchain technology and its applications.
 - Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, leveraging relationships to uncover new partnership opportunities and drive innovation.
 
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in business development within the blockchain, fintech, or related industries, with a demonstrated track record of closing enterprise-level partnerships.
 - Deep understanding of cryptocurrency ecosystems, web3 technologies, and their potential applications in enterprise solutions.
 - Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex market dynamics and identify growth opportunities.
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate Aptos' value proposition to diverse stakeholders and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
 - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering results under tight deadlines.
 - Fluency in English and Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and business contexts.
 - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business development, preferably with a background in blockchain or decentralized technology companies.
 - Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing cryptocurrency and web3 services in Japan and other international markets.
 - Proficiency in data analysis tools to evaluate partner performance, market trends, and business opportunities.
 - Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving collaborative projects to achieve organizational objectives.
