Job Description
Seeking a talented product designer to join our innovative team in shaping the future of Web3 technologies. This role will focus on creating seamless user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and emerging blockchain-based interfaces. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive design solutions. As a key member of the design team, you will also contribute to the development and maintenance of our comprehensive design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products. Additionally, you will engage in hardware product design initiatives through collaboration with external design studios, helping to bridge the gap between digital and physical user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of Web3 products for web, mobile, and blockchain platforms, focusing on user-centered design principles and accessibility standards
- Develop and maintain a robust design system that supports rapid prototyping, component reuse, and brand consistency across all platforms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility, technical implementation, and performance optimization
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine design approaches for different user segments
- Work with external design studios to create hardware product designs that align with our Web3 vision and user needs
- Document design processes, create style guides, and maintain version control for all design assets
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall product design quality
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry developments in the Web3 space
- Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to ensure design aligns with business goals and user expectations
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in product design for digital platforms, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in Web3 technologies
- Excellent understanding of design systems, including component libraries, style guides, and design documentation practices
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and/or Blender for creating high-fidelity prototypes and 3D models
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and marketing professionals
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey design decisions and collaborate with stakeholders
- Experience in hardware product design or collaboration with external design studios is highly preferred
- Knowledge of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications is a plus
- Ability to create and maintain design documentation for both digital and physical products
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address design challenges and optimize user experiences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all design deliverables
- Experience with agile development methodologies and iterative design processes
