Job Description
The Big Data Development Engineer position requires candidates to be based outside Mainland China. This role focuses on designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data processing systems using cutting-edge big data technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance data processing systems using Hadoop, Flink, Doris and data lake technologies
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for data collection, processing and analysis
- Design and implement data models to support efficient data storage and retrieval
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and data quality
- Stay updated with the latest big data technologies and industry trends
- Implement data security and compliance measures in all data solutions
- Optimize existing data infrastructure for better performance and efficiency
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in big data development and data processing
- Proficiency in Hadoop, Flink, Kafka, Doris, Iceberg, Redshift and other big data technologies
- Strong experience in data modeling and database design
- Solid understanding of data security and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in data lake construction and maintenance is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Fluent in English with good documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their implementation
- Certification in relevant big data technologies
- Experience working in multinational teams
