Job Description
We are seeking a Data-driven Business Finance & Risk Control Analysis Manager to join our team. This role is based in Singapore (remote work available). The ideal candidate will be a finance professional with strong risk control expertise, capable of analyzing business financial data to identify vulnerabilities in product rules and operational strategies. You will quantify various fraudulent activities (e.g., arbitrage, bonus abuse, volume manipulation) and implement measures to prevent profit leakage, safeguarding company costs and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Financial Data Monitoring: Establish real-time monitoring systems for operational and transactional data, covering all monetary flows including fees, rebates, incentives, subsidies, staking/mining rewards, etc.
- Vulnerability Identification: Systematically examine product and strategy loopholes across multiple areas including campaign rules, referral rewards, fee structures, spread/liquidity incentives, lending/staking rates, market maker subsidies, and deposit/withdrawal processes.
- Fraud Prevention: Detect patterns of fraudulent behavior such as multi-accounting, batch registration, wash trading, circular arbitrage, and reward abuse. Develop and refine detection rules and risk models to quantify losses.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, growth, risk, trading, and customer support teams to implement fixes and optimize strategies. Participate in financial assessments for new products/campaigns.
- Reporting & System Building: Produce vulnerability reports, loss analyses, and prevention effectiveness tracking. Establish end-to-end analytical frameworks from monitoring dashboards to remediation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related fields
- 5-10 years of experience including minimum 3 years in business finance/financial analysis/risk control/anti-fraud roles
- Strong data skills: Proficient in SQL (Python/Pandas preferred), Excel modeling, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Understanding of crypto/Web3 business models including exchange fee structures, incentive mechanisms, and arbitrage patterns
- Fluent in Chinese (required for collaboration with Chinese-speaking teams/headquarters)
- Logical thinker with strong numerical sensitivity, results-oriented with cross-functional leadership
