Job Description
The Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for driving global business growth and external relationship expansion for Klein Labs across core business segments including liquidity services, OTC, treasury management, ventures, and fund capital raising coordination. This leadership role requires a combination of business development expertise, strategic partnership management, and institutional communication capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development, strategic partnership, and fundraising plans for all business lines of Klein Labs to drive revenue growth, partnership conversion, and capital introduction
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with exchanges, project teams, DAOs, funds, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other key ecosystem participants
- Design and implement tiered partnership models for liquidity, OTC, treasury, ventures, and fund businesses to enhance conversion rates and long-term value contribution
- Lead institutional fundraising and LP relationship management, including investor outreach, communication, due diligence coordination, subscription processes, and capital onboarding
- Effectively communicate Klein Labs' business model, fund strategies, revenue logic, risk framework, and competitive advantages to partners and investors
- Manage and optimize external materials including company presentations, business decks, fundraising materials, one-pagers, FAQs, DDQs, and investor updates
- Represent Klein Labs in key business negotiations, industry events, external meetings, and important partnership discussions
- Collaborate with management, research, trading, legal, and operations teams to facilitate partnership execution and fundraising progress
- Build and scale the global BD team with clear KPIs and high-performance culture as the organization grows
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, institutional fundraising, investor relations, or sales (crypto industry experience preferred)
- Proven track record in business growth, partnership conversion, or fundraising with ability to independently drive projects to completion
- Deep understanding of Web3 ecosystem, crypto trading markets, token economics, and strategic partnership dynamics
- Familiar with communication styles and partnership needs of projects, exchanges, funds, family offices, HNWIs, and institutional investors
- Strong communication, relationship-building, material preparation, and project management skills
- Results-driven with strong execution capability and systematic approach to problem-solving
- Fluent in English (working proficiency required)
- Preference for candidates based in Singapore or Dubai
- Existing network with institutions, family offices, HNWIs, crypto-native LPs, exchanges or projects is a plus
- Experience in liquidity management, trading services, funds, asset management, or primary markets is advantageous
