Job Description
About CIAN: CIAN Yield Layer is one of the largest on-chain yield strategy platforms, allowing users to access advanced DeFi yield strategies with one click. Meanwhile, CIAN empowers sustained growth of high-quality emerging asset issuers - both crypto-native assets and real-world assets (RWA) - by generating additional on-chain returns for asset holders.
Standing at $1.4 billion Total Value Locked (TVL), CIAN has an extensive partner network of top-tier asset issuers, including cbBTC, fBTC, solvBTC, Bedrock, pumpBTC, Lido, Binance (wbETH, bnSol), Renzo, Kelp/Kernel, P2P, and pyUSD. Beyond crypto-native assets, CIAN is expanding access to institutional-grade interest-bearing RWAs issued by leading Wall Street and London-based institutions. CIAN also collaborates with RWA pioneers like Chainlink DigiFT and Midas to effectively bridge the gap between DeFi and RWA.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep exploring & onboarding new promising crypto assets to CIAN platform and negotiating cooperation terms with asset issuers that falls into following 2 categories:
- crypto native asset issuers eg. Lido, Ethena, fBTC
- RWA issuers
- tradiFi institutions
- crypto projects
- Maintain existing partnership with asset issuers
- Maintain existing partnership with and explore the top DeFi primitives eg. AAVE, Pendle etc.
- Coordinate the product-level alignment for the coopertation with asset issuers & DeFi primitives
- Keep exploring the partnership with promising emerging L1s & L2s
- Push & coordinate the the product-level cooperation with emerging L1s & L2s to maximize their eco. support and incentives
- Coordinate the demands and problems arising from users, partner protocols, partner asset issuers throughout the entire yield product life cycle of assets
- Coordinate the communication between product team, yield strategy team and external partners
- Documentation of cooperation proposal
Job Requirements
- Academic background: Bachelor's degree + from a well recognized institution, no preference in the direction
- Language: Fluent in oral and written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Domain expertise:
- Passion in DeFi
- Good understanding in mechanisms of mainstream DeFi protocols
- Experience and knowledge in DeFi Ecosystem
- Multi-year international exposure or overseas business experience
- BD experience is a plus
- Experience in top TradiFi institutions is a plus
- Multi-faceted approach to partnership exploration taking into account user needs, partners' demands, business environments etc.
- self-motivated & result oriented, capable of quickly gaining recognition from upstream and downstream partners
