Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Blockchain Backend Lead Engineer to oversee our blockchain integration and data infrastructure. The team has an existing data processing framework - your primary responsibility will be to optimize, scale, and standardize this framework to transform it into a robust platform supporting wallet, exchange, and yield products. You will guide the team's technical growth, implement best practices, and drive execution toward production-level reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and refine the existing multi-chain parsing and indexing framework to make it scalable, maintainable, and production-ready.
- Define and execute the technical roadmap, ensuring timely delivery aligned with business requirements.
- Enhance the quality and consistency of blockchain data processing, including reorg recovery, backfilling, reconciliation, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to deliver high-quality APIs and services built on the data framework.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, enforce coding standards, and foster a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
- Evaluate and introduce improvements in architecture, tools, and operational processes.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend or blockchain development with leadership experience (managing 3-5 engineers).
- Proficiency in Go (preferred), as well as Rust/Java or other backend languages.
- Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals: consensus mechanisms, node APIs, event logs, and reorg handling.
- Experience optimizing existing frameworks/platforms, not just greenfield development.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, data pipelines, and related components (e.g., Kafka, ClickHouse, or similar).
- Proven track record of delivering production-grade, high-performance systems.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Daily use of AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development.
