Job Description
The role is responsible for the overall operational strategy and business planning of the exchange, setting phased operational goals and driving their implementation, with accountability for core business metrics such as trading users, trading volume, revenue, activity, and retention. This position oversees spot trading, contracts, user growth, campaigns, and platform operations, continuously optimizing the full lifecycle of users from registration, deposit, trading to retention. Based on market trends, user behavior, and operational data, the candidate will develop growth strategies to enhance trading user scale, activity, and user value. Key responsibilities include planning and executing major operational and growth projects, establishing cost, risk, and ROI evaluation mechanisms, and conducting regular business reviews and strategy optimizations. Additionally, the role involves managing the operations team, including goal decomposition, task allocation, process management, and team development to improve overall delivery efficiency. Collaboration with product, technology, marketing, BD, and risk control teams is essential to drive key business initiatives and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement exchange-wide operational strategies and business plans.
- Set and achieve phased operational targets, ensuring core metrics (users, volume, revenue, retention) are met.
- Oversee spot, contracts, user growth, campaigns, and platform operations.
- Optimize user lifecycle management from registration to retention.
- Formulate growth strategies based on market trends and user data.
- Lead major operational projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
- Manage and develop the operations team for higher efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, tech, marketing, and risk teams.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years in crypto/Web3/CEX operations, with 3+ years in team leadership.
- Proven CEX operational experience, especially in spot/contract trading.
- Strong business acumen with direct accountability for key metrics (users, volume, revenue).
- Excellent data analysis and strategic planning skills.
- Effective team management and cross-department collaboration abilities.
- Deep understanding of crypto markets and user needs, with a results-driven approach.
- Preferred: Prior experience as CEX Operations Lead/Director, or scaling operations from 0 to 1.
