Job Description

The role is responsible for the overall operational strategy and business planning of the exchange, setting phased operational goals and driving their implementation. Key accountability includes core business metrics such as trading users, trading volume, revenue, user activity, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee spot trading, derivatives, user growth, campaigns, and platform operations, continuously optimizing the full user lifecycle from registration, deposit, trading to retention.
Develop growth strategies based on market trends, user behavior, and operational data to expand the trading user base, enhance trading activity, and maximize user value.
Lead the planning and execution of key operational and growth initiatives, establishing evaluation mechanisms for campaign costs, risks, and ROI while conducting regular business reviews and strategy optimizations.
Manage the operations team, including goal decomposition, task allocation, process management, and team development to improve overall delivery efficiency.
Collaborate with product, technology, marketing, BD, and risk control teams to drive critical business initiatives, taking ownership of operational projects and final business outcomes.

Job Requirements

5+ years of experience in internet/Web3/CEX operations with 3+ years in operational team management or business leadership roles.
Proven CEX platform operation experience, familiar with spot/derivatives trading and user operations logic. Prior experience with mainstream trading platforms is preferred.
Strong business acumen with direct accountability for core metrics like trading users, volume, fee income, activity, or retention.
Excellent data analysis and strategic capabilities to identify issues, formulate strategies, and drive performance improvements.
Demonstrated team management and cross-departmental collaboration skills to coordinate efforts across product, tech, marketing, and risk control teams.
Market-sensitive with crypto user needs, result-oriented mindset, and strong ownership with business-driving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as CEX Operations Head/Director or successful cases of building operational systems from scratch while achieving significant growth in trading users and volume.
