Job Description
This position is responsible for the comprehensive content gathering, writing, and editing operations for PANews. The candidate will play a key role in identifying and analyzing emerging market trends, industry developments, and relevant topics to ensure timely and accurate news coverage. The role involves independently producing news alerts that reflect real-time market movements, as well as crafting in-depth analytical articles that provide valuable insights for readers. Additionally, the individual will conduct external interviews with industry experts, analysts, and stakeholders to gather first-hand information, and perform targeted market research to support content creation. The work requires a strong understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem, as well as the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible language for a broad audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Systematically monitor and report on market trends, price fluctuations, and industry news across cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors
- Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with editorial strategy and audience engagement goals
- Conduct in-depth research on blockchain technologies, DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, and other emerging topics
- Write and edit news articles, opinion pieces, and analytical reports with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and professional tone
- Perform original interviews with industry leaders, developers, and investors to obtain exclusive insights
- Design and execute market research initiatives to identify audience interests and content gaps
- Collaborate with editorial team members to ensure content quality and consistency across platforms
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, technological advancements, and macroeconomic factors affecting the crypto market
- Produce data-driven content that incorporates market statistics, charts, and technical analysis
- Ensure all content adheres to journalistic standards and complies with legal requirements
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in content creation for financial or technology media platforms, preferably in cryptocurrency journalism
- Excellent command of English with strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and produce high-quality analytical content
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology fundamentals, including consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and decentralized systems
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms
- Ability to conduct professional interviews and manage survey data collection processes
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex data and market trends
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
