Developer Advocate at Blocto

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dApp applications on blockchain platforms including Aptos, Sui, Flow, and Solana
• Create and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and demo sessions in both Chinese and English to engage with the developer community
• Optimize and improve development documentation, including API references, tutorials, and technical guides
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to refine blockchain solutions and enhance user experience
• Conduct research on emerging blockchain technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation
• Provide technical support and guidance to developers using Blocto's blockchain tools and platforms
• Participate in community events, hackathons, and developer meetups to promote Blocto's ecosystem
• Develop and implement best practices for blockchain application development and smart contract security
• Work with stakeholders to define requirements and specifications for new blockchain features
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of blockchain applications through rigorous testing and debugging

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in blockchain application development, preferably with dApp creation on platforms like Aptos, Sui, Flow, and Solana
• Strong proficiency in smart contract development languages including Move, Cadence, and Rust
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts in both Chinese and English
• Ability to create engaging demo materials and documentation that cater to different developer skill levels
• Collaborative mindset with experience in working with cross-functional teams to deliver blockchain solutions
• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract security
• Experience in community engagement, including organizing events, workshops, and developer meetups
• Knowledge of blockchain development tools and frameworks, including IDEs, testing environments, and deployment platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize blockchain applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical requirements clearly
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred experience in open-source development and contributing to blockchain ecosystems
• Knowledge of blockchain scalability solutions and performance optimization techniques
• Ability to translate technical requirements into user-friendly documentation and presentations
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure the accuracy of blockchain applications and smart contracts
• Experience in developing and maintaining blockchain-based products with a focus on developer experience
• Ability to work with stakeholders to define and refine blockchain development roadmaps
• Knowledge of blockchain security best practices and risk mitigation strategies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate blockchain technologies and their potential applications
