Job Description
Responsible for the development and growth of Chinese-speaking Web3 communities, including community operations, user engagement, topic guidance, atmosphere building, and long-term activity enhancement.
Develop and execute community growth strategies by continuously optimizing user engagement paths and content/activity mechanisms to improve community activity, participation, and user retention.
Manage daily operations on social media and community platforms, including content publishing, interaction responses, trending topic follow-ups, and communication rhythm management.
Monitor trends in Web3, Crypto, blockchain, and social media industries, adjusting operational and content strategies to maintain community competitiveness and engagement.
Plan and execute online and offline community events, such as AMAs, roundtables, live streams, community challenges, and interactive activities, to enhance participation, virality, and community influence—not just procedural execution.
Oversee the creation, editing, and scheduling of community content to ensure high quality, relevance, shareability, and "online appeal" that sparks discussions and user interactions.
Assist in the localization and optimization of project content for Chinese-speaking audiences, adapting global/English materials for better understanding and dissemination.
Identify and collaborate with local KOLs, community leaders, partner projects, and industry resources to drive joint promotions and cooperative initiatives.
Establish and maintain partnerships with industry ecosystem players to facilitate joint activities, co-marketing, and long-term collaboration mechanisms.
Collect and analyze community feedback and sentiment, proactively identifying issues and driving solutions to improve user satisfaction and community health.
Analyze community data, event performance, and growth metrics, using insights to refine content strategies, activity designs, and growth pathways.
As a core community operations lead for Mantle CN, actively respond to user inquiries and feedback to enhance overall community experience and loyalty.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Marketing, Media, Communications, or related fields.
- Solid understanding of Web3, Crypto, and blockchain, including Layer2, DeFi, DAO, ecosystem projects, and community governance, with a willingness to keep learning.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Web3 community operations, content operations, social media management, live streaming, creator engagement, or user growth.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to efficiently liaise with users, KOLs, partners, internal teams, and external resources.
- Strong execution ability to respond quickly to needs and proactively drive tasks forward, adapting to fast-paced, iterative, and multitasking workflows.
- Creative mindset to design engaging, interactive, and shareable community activities and growth tactics.
- Structured thinking to break down ideas into actionable plans, including timelines, execution workflows, material preparation, budget control, risk mitigation, and post-event analysis.
- Good "online sensibility" and content judgment to identify topics that drive discussions, shares, and engagement.
- Resourcefulness and efficiency to maximize community exposure, interaction, and growth within limited budgets.
- Resilience to thrive in a fast-changing, high-pressure, multitasking environment.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese to support collaboration with both Chinese and global stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Web3 project operations (e.g., exchanges, wallets, L2, DeFi, GameFi, developer communities, or Chinese Crypto communities).
- Familiarity with platform dynamics on Telegram, Discord, WeChat groups, X (Twitter), Xiaohongshu, Bilibili, Douyin, YouTube, etc.
- Experience in AMAs, live streams, roundtables, offline meetups, KOL collaborations, or growth campaign planning.
- Basic English proficiency for content comprehension, localized adaptation, and cross-team communication.
- Distinctive content style or expressive ability, with sensitivity to meme culture, community sentiment, and communication timing.
