Job Description
The Web3-aware Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing backend services for stablecoin and fiat currency exchange systems. This includes order matching, exchange clearing, and fund flow control. The role requires seamless integration with on-chain contracts using SDKs like ethers.js, web3.js, and web3.py to build transaction submission, event monitoring, and contract interaction interfaces. Additionally, the engineer will maintain node services, blockchain synchronization, price oracles, collateral verification, and fiat banking integrations. A key focus will be designing highly available and secure service architectures to ensure fund safety and high-concurrency performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services for stablecoin-fiat exchange systems including order matching and clearing mechanisms
- Develop interfaces for blockchain interaction using web3 SDKs (ethers.js/web3.js/web3.py)
- Maintain blockchain nodes, synchronization services, and price oracle integrations
- Implement secure fund flow controls and banking API integrations
- Architect high-availability systems with robust security measures
- Optimize systems for high throughput and low-latency performance
- Collaborate with frontend and smart contract development teams
Job Requirements
- 3+ years backend development experience (Java/Go/Node/Python)
- Prior experience in financial systems, payment processing or trading platforms preferred
- Deep understanding of web3 interactions, on-chain transactions and RPC node communications
- Knowledge of stablecoin exchange mechanisms and RWA settlement processes
- Familiarity with KYC/AML compliance requirements in financial systems
- Proven experience building REST/gRPC services and working with Postgres/Mongo/Redis
- Experience with payment systems and high-reliability architectures is a plus
