Job Description
The role involves actively identifying, engaging, and persuading potential partners (including but not limited to other DeFi protocols, wallets, trading platforms, and asset management/derivative protocols) to complete technical integrations and business collaborations with our protocol/smart contracts, directly driving trading volume and liquidity. Additionally, you will manage relationships with key clients (whales/institutions), leading negotiations and partnerships with market makers, investment funds, and large liquidity providers to ensure deep liquidity for core trading pairs while maintaining long-term relationships to sustain their usage of our protocol.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Proactively seek, engage, and onboard new partners to integrate our protocol.
- Key Account Management: Lead negotiations with market makers, funds, and large liquidity providers to ensure liquidity depth.
- Performance Metrics: Achieve quantifiable sales targets, including growth in monthly trading volume and Total Value Locked (TVL).
- Strategic Partnerships: Secure a set number of high-value technical integrations and partnerships.
- Revenue Impact: Drive trading volume and liquidity, directly contributing to protocol revenue, with performance closely tied to these outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Proven Sales Track Record: Minimum 2 years of successful BD or institutional sales experience in blockchain/DeFi, with verifiable cases of significant TVL or trading volume growth.
- Industry Network: Established connections in Web3, with direct access to project founders and key decision-makers (e.g., top protocols, CEX/DEX, market makers, investment firms).
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of smart contracts, liquidity pools, cross-chain bridges, and ability to articulate our protocol’s technical value to clients.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills, proficient with tools like Dune Analytics and DeFiLlama to guide sales strategies and demonstrate ROI.
- Negotiation & Execution: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and deal-closing skills, capable of independently driving complex partnerships to completion.
Compensation
Competitive salary range: $2,000 - $5,000 USD, commensurate with experience and performance.
