Job Description
As a UI/UX Designer and Interaction Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of Okapi and its related products. This position requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive, visually compelling interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design solutions. The role involves conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and refining visual designs to align with brand identity and business goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining and evolving the design system to support scalability and consistency across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring optimal usability and accessibility
- Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Create interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to visualize design concepts
- Develop and maintain a cohesive visual language that reflects the brand's identity and values
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design specifications are accurately translated into code
- Stay updated with emerging design trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge
- Provide design guidance and mentorship to junior team members when needed
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and facilitate feedback sessions for iterative improvements
- Monitor and analyze user behavior data to inform design decisions and enhance user satisfaction
- Ensure cross-platform consistency in design elements and user experience across different devices
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in UI/UX design for internet products, with a focus on interaction design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, and Sketch for creating design assets
- Strong grasp of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to understand interactive implementation
- Excellent portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including user research, wireframing, and visual design
- Ability to conceptualize and execute design solutions from 0 to 1, including user flow and information architecture
- Keen eye for aesthetics and design trends, with a mature approach to absorbing and applying "excellent design" principles
- Experience in graphic design, 3D modeling, and CG rendering to enhance visual creativity
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge of design methodologies such as Agile and Scrum to align with project timelines
- Proficiency in using designer platforms like Dribbble, Behance, and站酷 (ZhanKu) for showcasing work and staying connected with the design community
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to iterate on design concepts based on feedback and testing results
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality output

- Experience with user experience research methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing
