Job Description
This role focuses on executing and optimizing cryptocurrency quantitative trading strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with the algorithmic trading team to develop, implement, and refine automated trading approaches while managing risks and adapting to dynamic market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute cryptocurrency quantitative trading strategies on centralized exchanges (CEX)
- Independently research, develop, and manage effective trading strategies
- Collaborate with the algorithmic trading team on the research, design, and implementation of automated options trading strategies
- Analyze market data and trends to identify profitable trading opportunities and refine strategies
- Implement and optimize trading approaches using quantitative analysis
- Manage trading risks effectively and adapt strategies to changing market conditions
- Utilize Python or similar programming languages to develop and enhance trading algorithms
- Maintain detailed records of trades, performance metrics, and strategy modifications
- Stay informed about market developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements affecting cryptocurrency trading
Required Skills
- Strong background in quantitative finance and cryptocurrency markets
- Proficiency in Python programming for algorithmic trading
- Experience with statistical analysis and quantitative modeling
- Knowledge of options trading strategies and derivatives
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of risk management principles in trading
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
