Job Description
This position focuses on the development and management of blockchain-based data products. The candidate will lead the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization to market delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological innovation. Key tasks include translating complex requirements into actionable product designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support development and stakeholder communication. The role requires a deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems and data science principles to drive product value and user engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design blockchain data products, including creating detailed PRD (Product Requirement Documents), developing functional prototypes, and producing technical specifications and other related documentation to guide development processes.
- Work closely with the R&D department to ensure seamless integration of product designs with technical implementations, facilitating regular progress reviews, risk assessments, and final delivery milestones.
- Continuously monitor industry advancements in blockchain technology and data science, conducting in-depth research to identify emerging trends, competitive advantages, and potential market opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain product analysis reports on a regular basis, summarizing market research findings, user feedback, and technical performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure the final product meets user needs and business goals effectively.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to innovate new data product solutions, leveraging blockchain capabilities such as decentralization, immutability, and smart contracts.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining the security, scalability, and efficiency of blockchain data products.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iteratively improve product usability, performance, and alignment with market demands.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay informed about technological developments and market dynamics.
- Present product roadmaps and updates to senior management and investors, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in blockchain product design and development, with a strong understanding of distributed ledger technology, cryptographic protocols, and smart contract ecosystems.
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate technical feasibility, user requirements, and market demand for data products, coupled with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
- Strong collaboration abilities to work effectively with R&D teams, engineers, and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma for prototyping, Jira for project management, and Git for version control, along with experience in agile development methodologies.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and produce insightful reports that drive product innovation and competitive positioning.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences and document requirements for development teams.
- Knowledge of data science principles and machine learning techniques to enhance blockchain data product functionality and user experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with certifications in blockchain technology or data product management.
- Experience with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Corda, and familiarity with consensus mechanisms, smart contract development, and decentralized application (DApp) architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges, optimize product performance, and ensure seamless user experiences across blockchain data solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing timelines, resources, and quality requirements to deliver products on schedule.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and cybersecurity best practices to ensure compliance and protect sensitive information in blockchain data products.
