Job Description
As a Product Designer, you will work within a Product Delivery Team that integrates UX, engineering, product, and data expertise to deliver innovative solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into user-centric designs, ensuring alignment with both technical capabilities and market demands. You will be responsible for shaping the visual language of products, creating cohesive brand materials, and contributing to the development of next-generation web applications with a focus on client-side experiences. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to balance creative vision with practical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop next-generation web applications with a strong emphasis on client-side user experience, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and delivering high-performance, responsive interfaces.
- Collaborate with UX researchers, engineers, and product managers to refine user flows, conduct usability testing, and iterate on design solutions based on data-driven insights.
- Lead the creation of brand materials, maintaining a consistent aesthetic across all digital touchpoints while adapting to evolving design trends and business needs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without compromising quality or creative integrity.
- Revise and enhance the work of previous designers to ensure visual coherence, brand consistency, and alignment with current design standards.
- Participate in agile development cycles, providing design input during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to support rapid product delivery.
- Document design decisions and maintain style guides to facilitate team collaboration and future scalability of design systems.
Job Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Applications (B.C.A/M.C.A) or equivalent qualification from a recognized national university.
- Have 3+ years of professional design experience, with a proven track record in UX/UI design, web development, and brand design projects.
- Currently enrolled in any academic year or have already graduated, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Photoshop, with experience in creating interactive prototypes and high-fidelity mockups.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the ability to collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts to stakeholders, engineers, and clients, and to advocate for user-centered design principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible mindset to adapt to changing project requirements and business priorities.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices to create equitable user experiences for diverse audiences.
- Experience with agile methodologies and iterative design processes to support rapid prototyping and continuous improvement.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including web applications, brand materials, and user interface designs, with emphasis on problem-solving and visual storytelling.
