Job Description
BitGo is a leading provider of enterprise-grade solutions for secure digital asset management and custody. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company's capabilities in supporting new digital assets through innovative technical strategies and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology, digital asset integration processes, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Be accountable for growing BitGo’s core competency of supporting new digital assets by developing and implementing scalable technical frameworks.
- Collaborate with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to set the product and technical vision and roadmap for coin integration, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
- Actively foster an engineering-wide culture that embodies our values of open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and a client-first approach through mentorship and process optimization.
- Lead the execution of coin integration projects from conceptualization to deployment, coordinating with teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing systems to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and support the rapid adoption of emerging digital assets.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in blockchain technology and digital asset integration, with a focus on enterprise-grade systems and security protocols.
- Strong technical expertise in software development, API design, and distributed ledger technologies, including familiarity with cryptographic standards and smart contract platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients while articulating technical concepts clearly.
- Leadership ability to drive initiatives, manage project timelines, and ensure the delivery of solutions that align with BitGo’s mission of empowering institutional clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a track record of delivering results in fast-paced, innovative environments.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to digital assets, including AML/KYC processes and data privacy regulations.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a similar discipline.
