Web3 Creator Ecosystem Expansion (Partnership)
About this role:
This position is primarily responsible for the end-to-end recruitment, operational retention, ecosystem collaboration, and strategy optimization of Web3 and cross-industry KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and live streamers for Gate Square. The goal is to build a highly active platform creator ecosystem and enhance the brand's industry influence.
Key Responsibilities:
- KOL & Streamer Recruitment:
- Responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of KOLs and live streamers for Gate Square, with a focus on verticals such as Web3, crypto trading, finance, stocks, and gaming.
- Proactively identify high-quality creators through channels like X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, Telegram, and Discord, and complete the process of connection, communication, invitation, and onboarding.
- Develop differentiated collaboration and incentive strategies based on the characteristics of different types of KOLs/streamers to improve recruitment conversion rates.
- Continuously expand industry resources and establish/maintain a pool of high-quality KOLs, streamers, and industry partners.
- KOL & Streamer Operations:
- Manage the onboarding, rule training, and daily communication for new KOLs/streamers, encouraging them to post content and stream regularly.
- Provide content direction, activity participation, and traffic support recommendations based on performance data and content characteristics.
- Maintain relationships with key KOLs/streamers, promptly address their needs, and enhance creator activity, retention, and collaboration depth.
- Coordinate internal platform resources to match high-quality creators with traffic, activities, exposure, and collaboration opportunities.
- Industry Collaboration & Resource Expansion:
- Stay updated on Web3 industry trends, project teams, and community ecosystems to expand partnerships with project teams, institutions, KOLs, traders, etc.
- Participate in planning and executing AMAs, roundtables, themed live streams, and joint activities, inviting industry guests to enhance platform influence.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, product, and community teams to drive key projects and resource partnerships.
- Strategic Analysis & Feedback:
- Track core metrics such as KOL/streamer recruitment, onboarding, content posting, live streaming, and activity to continuously optimize BD strategies.
- Monitor competitor platforms' KOL/streamer ecosystems, recruitment methods, and incentive policies, and regularly provide industry and competitor insights.
- Collect creator feedback to drive continuous improvements in products, operations, and incentive mechanisms.
Job Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with:
- Industry & BD Experience:
- 1-3 years of BD or KOL expansion experience in Web3, exchanges, content platforms, communities, or related industries.
- Preference given to those with existing Web3 KOL, streamer, trader, project team, or community resources.
- Hands-on experience in KOL/streamer recruitment and collaboration, capable of independently managing the entire process from sourcing to conversion.
- Industry Knowledge & Resources:
- Familiarity with the Web3 industry ecosystem and community culture, including major social channels like X (Twitter), Telegram, and Discord.
- Strong interest in Web3, trading, and finance content, with the ability to quickly assess creator content quality and commercial value.
- Established industry resources and connections, capable of continuously expanding new creators and partnerships.
- Communication & Business Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, able to build long-term collaborations with diverse KOLs/streamers.
- Proactive in expanding networks, not reliant on existing resources, and capable of identifying and converting potential partners.
- Proficiency in English reading and writing; spoken English is a plus. Preference given to those with experience in overseas KOL/streamer expansion and cross-cultural communication.
- Results-Driven:
- Strong goal orientation and execution skills, with the ability to measure success through metrics like KOL/streamer recruitment, onboarding, activity, content posting, and live streaming.
- Strong project management skills, able to coordinate internal resources to quickly implement collaborations.
- Resilient under pressure and adaptable to fast-paced, high-frequency communication and results-driven BD work.
- Prior BD experience in exchanges is preferred. Candidates must be open to non-"base salary + commission" compensation structures.
Bonus Qualifications:
- BD experience in exchanges, Web3 platforms, MCNs, or live streaming platforms.
- Experience in overseas KOL/streamer expansion.
- Established pool of KOL/streamer resources.
- Experience managing overseas social media (e.g., X/Twitter) or personal industry influence.
- Experience in planning and executing events, AMAs, roundtables, or live streams.
