Key Responsibilities
- Product & Business Economic Model Analysis: Develop P&L models for products/business lines. Conduct financial feasibility assessments for new initiatives, rule changes, or campaigns. Analyze key factors like revenue, user incentives, rebates, subsidies, funding costs, and risk losses to evaluate profitability.
- Financial Monitoring & Anomaly Detection: Establish daily/weekly/monthly P&L tracking mechanisms. Identify abnormal fluctuations through cross-analysis of financial and operational data. Detect potential arbitrage opportunities, loopholes, or fraudulent behaviors.
- Business Decision Support: Participate in key project reviews, providing ROI, margin, and cost-benefit analyses. Conduct post-mortems on business outcomes and propose optimizations. Build financial models for major decisions.
- Cost & Capital Efficiency: Optimize cost structures and capital utilization. Monitor variable costs (user incentives, marketing, rebates). Establish core metrics like cost ratios and unit economics.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Ops, Treasury, Risk, and Data teams to establish oversight mechanisms. Flag financial risks during planning stages and address operational blind spots.
- Financial System Development: Enhance P&L frameworks, business metrics, and anomaly detection rules. Integrate financial data with operational datasets to improve profitability monitoring.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years in Finance BP, FP&A, Management Accounting, Financial Control, or commercial analysis.
- Strong financial modeling skills with ability to independently build product P&L frameworks.
- Deep understanding of internet, FinTech, payment platforms, or Web3/Crypto businesses.
- Business acumen to interpret financial data in operational contexts.
- Proactive problem identification beyond routine financial reporting.
- Advanced data analysis capabilities for multi-dimensional validation.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with Product/Ops/Risk teams.
- Independent judgment to constructively challenge business proposals.
