UI / UX Designer full-time at Nintendo

As a Product Designer, you will work within a Product Delivery Team fused with UX, engineering, product and data talent. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and user-centric solutions. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into compelling visual designs that enhance user experience and align with brand identity. This position requires a strong understanding of design principles, user research methodologies, and the ability to create cohesive design systems that support product development across multiple platforms.

• Lead the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define design specifications
• Develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency across brand materials
• Iterate on design concepts based on feedback and performance data

Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines. Revise the work of previous designers to create a unified aesthetic for our brand materials. Ensure that all design outputs are accessible, responsive, and meet industry standards. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the product. Stay updated with emerging design trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

• Design and prototype interactive web applications with a focus on client-side development
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate analytics into design solutions
• Develop wireframes and high-fidelity mockups for new product features
• Conduct A/B testing to validate design effectiveness
• Document design processes and deliverables for internal and external stakeholders

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field
• 3 or more years of professional design experience in product development
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, information architecture, and interaction design
• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple design tasks simultaneously
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of design work and problem-solving abilities
