Job Description
Senior Data Analyst will own the design, implementation, and evolution of Drift’s analytics framework across core metrics, reporting, and data infrastructure. The role requires leading deep-dive analyses on user behavior, trading performance, and protocol health to inform strategic product and growth decisions. You will develop and maintain robust, scalable dashboards and automated reporting for leadership and cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to define success metrics, measure feature impact, and uncover new growth opportunities. As a senior member, you will mentor junior analysts and establish best practices for analysis, visualization, and communication across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement analytics frameworks for core metrics and reporting
- Conduct in-depth analyses on user behavior and trading performance
- Develop scalable dashboards and automated reporting tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define success metrics
- Mentor junior analysts and establish team best practices
Job Requirements
- MUST HAVE: ambitious, hungry for more, and passionate to make impacts
- 5–8 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence
- Experience in trading, fintech, or crypto industries preferred
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization)
- Experience working with blockchain/on-chain data
- Strong background in data modeling and metric design
- Ability to build scalable dashboards for diverse stakeholders
- Resourceful and focused on measurable outcomes
- Bonus: experience with volume-focused programs at CEXs or DeFi protocols
