Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to design and develop highly scalable DeFi platform backend services. The ideal candidate will ensure system performance, security, and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable DeFi platform backend services to ensure system performance, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with front-end engineers and smart contract engineers to integrate back-end services with blockchain technology
- Optimize backend architecture to achieve data storage, reading, and processing efficiency in high-performance DeFi environments
- Implement secure APIs for communication between front-end, smart contracts, and third-party services
- Participate in backend code review, troubleshoot and resolve performance or security related issues
- Continuously monitor the trends and best practices in backend development in DeFi and blockchain fields
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology and DeFi ecosystem
- Experience with API development and security best practices
- Knowledge of database optimization and high-performance computing
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with smart contract integration
- Knowledge of cryptographic protocols and security mechanisms
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
