Job Description
As a User Operations Manager, you will lead a dynamic team to drive user growth and engagement through strategic planning and execution. Your role encompasses team management, growth strategy formulation, and cross-departmental collaboration to optimize user lifecycle value.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Oversee daily operations, task allocation, performance evaluation, and SOP establishment for the user operations team. Ensure quality control in user segmentation, activation, churn prevention, issue resolution, and reporting.
- Growth Strategy: Develop and implement monthly/quarterly user growth plans based on platform data. Address key challenges like new user retention, low activity, dormant users, and conversion optimization through targeted campaigns.
- User Segmentation: Build a comprehensive user stratification system based on registration timeline, behavior patterns, transaction frequency, asset size, and activity status. Design differentiated engagement strategies for each segment.
- Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of operational metrics, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and continuously refine strategies to improve ROI. Develop reusable operational methodologies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, product, risk control, and channel teams to enhance user experience, optimize acquisition funnels, and maintain platform ecosystem health.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years in internet/Web3/exchange user operations with 1-2 years team management experience. Prior success in exchange-wide user growth projects preferred.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of spot/contract trading, new user onboarding, and full user lifecycle management. Proven track record in retention/activation strategy implementation.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency, basic SQL query capability, and strong data-driven decision making ability.
- Management Skills: Excellent team leadership, process optimization, and performance management capabilities with strong goal orientation.
- Plus Factors: Experience managing 10K+ user growth projects, building complete user stratification systems, or conducting sophisticated user behavior modeling.
