Job Description
Collaborate with the team to produce in-depth research reports on the cryptocurrency industry, responsible for core research content including project due diligence, tokenomics analysis, competitor comparisons, risk assessment, and valuation frameworks, while delivering high-quality written drafts. Independently undertake specific research tasks such as tracking designated sectors, conducting rapid project due diligence, and performing thematic analysis. Continuously monitor primary English-language crypto information sources to provide input for the team's research direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the research team to develop comprehensive reports on crypto projects and market trends.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on blockchain projects, including tokenomics evaluation and competitive landscape analysis.
- Perform risk assessments and develop valuation frameworks for crypto assets.
- Track and analyze specific crypto sectors, providing timely insights and updates.
- Monitor and synthesize information from leading crypto research platforms (e.g., Delphi, Messari, a16z).
- Contribute to the team's research agenda by identifying emerging trends and opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably from a top-tier university (985/211 or equivalent international institution).
- 3-5 years of research experience, with a proven track record of producing in-depth reports or industry analyses (crypto, traditional finance, or financial media).
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft professional, well-structured institutional-grade research reports.
- Strong English reading and comprehension skills, capable of efficiently processing long-form reports from leading crypto research firms.
- Genuine interest in cryptocurrency, with a clear understanding of at least 1-2 crypto sectors.
- Team player who can conduct deep research within established frameworks while providing well-founded alternative perspectives when appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
- Public writing portfolio (e.g., Twitter, Mirror, Substack, WeChat public account).
- Experience at top crypto research firms, crypto media outlets, or traditional financial research institutions.
- Hands-on experience with blockchain interactions, trading, or basic on-chain data analysis (e.g., Dune, Nansen, Arkham).
