Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Hackathon Project Ops professional to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our upcoming hackathon event. This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure a seamless experience for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive Hackathon schedule and workshop timeline
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including lecturers, guest speakers, venue staff, participating teams, and judges
- Manage the participant registration process and handle all related inquiries
- Maintain and update the event's Notion page with relevant information
- Oversee on-site execution of the entire hackathon process
- Ensure smooth development environment setup and task delivery
- Create and manage FAQ documentation for participants
- Troubleshoot any operational issues that arise during the event
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or project coordination
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with hackathon formats and technical environments
- Experience using Notion or similar collaboration tools
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Availability to work flexible hours during the event period
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience organizing hackathons or similar tech events
- Technical background or understanding of software development processes
- Multilingual capabilities to support diverse participant groups
- Experience with community building and engagement
