Job Description
As a Research Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the research function achieves its objectives. You will collaborate closely with Research Engineers to develop sector-specific reports, provide big-picture insights, and drive analytical depth. This role offers the opportunity to lead special research projects while maintaining organized workflows and overseeing the editorial process from draft to publication.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Research Engineers to develop and refine sector-specific crypto reports.
- Provide strategic insights and analysis for each crypto sector covered by the team.
- Identify areas for further research and guide Research Engineers in their inquiries.
- Coordinate feedback from team members, including the Head of Research.
- Lead and own special research projects with support from the research team.
- Maintain research workflows, including daily huddles, content trackers, and timelines.
- Monitor ecosystem channels (Telegram, Twitter, Email) for relevant insights.
- Manage the editorial process from draft to final publication, ensuring high-quality output.
- Review and refine reports, incorporating feedback from research leads.
Strategic Initiatives
- Bring fresh perspectives to publishing processes and ideate new initiatives for wider reach.
- Shape innovative research projects to enhance the team's output.
- Develop a strong point-of-view on crypto to guide the research team's direction.
- Provide strategic input on individual reports to drive their long-term evolution.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Open Source teams to gather expert feedback.
- Leverage proprietary data and source ideas to improve report quality.

- Proven experience in research management, preferably in the crypto or fintech sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
