Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy robust, scalable network solutions that meet enterprise requirements while optimizing cost-effectiveness and security protocols.
 - Conduct regular network performance audits using advanced monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG) to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven improvements.
 - Lead incident response efforts for network disruptions, troubleshooting complex issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams to restore services within SLA parameters.
 - Stay current with emerging networking technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on existing infrastructure and proposing modernization strategies.
 - Collaborate with stakeholders to define network security policies, configure firewalls, and implement intrusion detection systems to safeguard critical assets.
 - Document network configurations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting workflows to ensure knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
 - Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, mentoring team members to enhance overall network expertise and organizational capabilities.
 - Support the integration of cloud services and SD-WAN solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity and alignment with hybrid infrastructure strategies.
 - Collaborate with IT operations teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with existing systems and applications.
 - Lead network capacity planning efforts, forecasting bandwidth needs and recommending infrastructure upgrades to support growth.
 - Conduct network risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to reduce downtime and security vulnerabilities.
 - Implement network change management processes to ensure smooth transitions during infrastructure modifications.
 - Support network performance benchmarking and optimization techniques to enhance system reliability and user experience.
 
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a proven track record in designing and managing large-scale enterprise networks.
 - Advanced certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent in network security and infrastructure management are highly preferred.
 - Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLANs, and QoS mechanisms to ensure optimal network performance.
 - Strong knowledge of network security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and experience implementing secure network architectures to mitigate cyber threats.
 - Ability to analyze network traffic patterns and performance data using tools like Wireshark, NetFlow, or Splunk to optimize resource allocation.
 - Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Python scripting) to streamline configuration management and reduce manual overhead.
 - Excellent communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with vendors on network upgrades.
 - Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container networking technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to support hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
 - Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve critical network outages and implement preventive measures through root-cause analysis.
 - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing network upgrades, security enhancements, and capacity planning initiatives.
 - Experience with network service providers and vendor management to ensure reliable connectivity and cost-effective service contracts.
 - Knowledge of network compliance regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) and experience implementing audit trails for regulatory reporting.
 - Proficiency in network design documentation using tools like Visio or Lucidchart to create scalable and maintainable architectures.
 - Ability to lead network capacity planning efforts, forecasting bandwidth needs and recommending infrastructure upgrades to support growth.
 - Experience with network virtualization technologies (VMware NSX, Cisco ACI) to enable flexible and secure network segmentation.
