Job Description
This role is centered around the development of blockchain applications for mass market adoption. The candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners to design and develop scalable blockchain applications that cater to a wide range of users, including developers, investors, and end-users. The primary focus is on creating solutions that enable seamless integration of third-party applications with the Blocto account system, specifically for web-based blockchain platforms. A key example involves the development of browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox to facilitate multi-chain support, including Near, Terra, Algorand, Tezos, and other emerging blockchain protocols. The position requires a deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into user-centric applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of blockchain applications using JavaScript, iOS, and Android SDKs to ensure compatibility with diverse platforms and user bases.
- Collaborate with partners to integrate third-party applications with the Blocto account system, enhancing functionality for web-based blockchain services.
- Design and implement browser extensions for major platforms like Chrome and Firefox, enabling support for multiple blockchain networks.
- Work on cross-chain solutions to ensure interoperability between different blockchain protocols such as Near, Terra, Algorand, and Tezos.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of blockchain applications to ensure reliability, security, and performance across all supported platforms.
- Develop technical documentation and user guides to support the deployment and maintenance of blockchain applications.
- Stay updated on the latest blockchain trends and technologies to continuously improve application features and user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to align development efforts with business goals and user needs.
- Optimize existing blockchain applications based on user feedback and performance metrics to enhance adoption and usability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for blockchain development and security protocols.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in blockchain application development, with a focus on cross-platform solutions using JavaScript, iOS, and Android SDKs.
- Strong understanding of blockchain protocols and their integration with web-based applications, including multi-chain support systems.
- Expertise in developing browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox that enable seamless interaction with blockchain networks.
- Knowledge of smart contract development and decentralized application (DApp) architecture for blockchain ecosystems.
- Ability to design and implement secure, scalable, and user-friendly blockchain applications that meet market demands.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to debug and optimize blockchain applications for performance and reliability.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners on complex projects.
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git for managing blockchain application development workflows.
- Experience with blockchain development tools and frameworks, including Solidity, Truffle, and MetaMask integration.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with product teams.
