Job Description
The Payment Merchant Manager (Vietnam) will be responsible for expanding and managing payment merchant networks in Vietnam to facilitate cryptocurrency transactions. This role focuses on building robust fiat on-ramp and off-ramp solutions while ensuring compliance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Acquisition: Expand fiat payment merchants in Vietnam to support crypto asset trading, establishing a stable OTC/P2P merchant network.
- Fiat Gateway Development: Build local fiat on-ramp (buy crypto) and off-ramp (sell crypto) channels in Vietnam.
- Merchant Management: Oversee OTC/P2P merchants, monitor transaction volume and liquidity, and handle payment exceptions and complaints.
- Payment Ecosystem Collaboration: Partner with local payment gateways, PSPs, e-wallets, and fintech companies in Vietnam.
- Risk & Compliance: Work with the risk control team to screen merchants, mitigate fraud and financial risks, and optimize payment processes.
Job Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in payment exchanges, fintech, crypto, or OTC merchant management.
- Familiarity with Vietnam's local payment ecosystem.
- Native Vietnamese proficiency; fluency in English or Chinese as a working language for effective team and client communication.
