Job Description
The Encryption U-Card Product Manager will lead the strategic planning and execution of cryptocurrency card products throughout their entire lifecycle. This role focuses on delivering innovative payment solutions that meet global user needs while ensuring compliance and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive product strategies and roadmaps for cryptocurrency card solutions
- Create sustainable business models that align with market demands and company objectives
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify user needs (instant consumption, cross-border payments, fiat currency exchange, etc.)
- Coordinate technical integration between blockchain wallets, payment gateways (Visa/Mastercard), and compliance systems (KYC/AML)
- Implement robust security measures to prevent fraud and protect against data breaches
- Lead global financial compliance initiatives in accordance with regional regulations (EU PSD2, US FinCEN, etc.)
- Collaborate with legal teams on license applications and anti-money laundering policy development
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with banks, payment networks, and security service providers
- Negotiate partnership agreements to optimize cost structures and enhance user experience
- Develop go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns (card opening rewards, consumer rebates, etc.)
- Monitor product performance metrics and implement data-driven optimizations
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in fintech or payment solutions
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency ecosystems
- Proven track record in managing card-based payment products
- Strong knowledge of global financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience working with payment networks (Visa/Mastercard) and banking partners
- Excellent technical coordination skills with engineering teams
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex market data
- Outstanding negotiation and partnership management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in launching crypto card products in multiple jurisdictions
- Familiarity with card management systems and payment processing infrastructure
- Multilingual capabilities for global market expansion
- Certifications in financial compliance or risk management
