Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and Engage BTC Holders: Target institutional investors such as hedge funds, family offices, pensions, and sovereign wealth funds to commit Bitcoin assets to the Yala platform, leveraging deep industry connections.
- Build and Manage Strategic Partnerships: Engage with institutional clients, crypto-native funds, and financial institutions to establish long-term relationships, delivering tailored value propositions.
- Sales Leadership: Drive institutional asset inflows by managing the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to contract closure, ensuring Yala's product offerings meet the evolving needs of Bitcoin holders.
- Client Education & Onboarding: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to institutional clients, educating them on the benefits of YU and Bitcoin's utility within DeFi environments.
- Institutional Market Analysis: Continuously monitor institutional trends in Bitcoin and digital asset investment to inform product development and refine go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with Product Teams: Work closely with Yala's product and engineering teams to align product development with the needs of institutional investors, ensuring a seamless integration of BTC assets into the platform.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in institutional sales or business development within the cryptocurrency, fintech, or traditional financial services industry.
- Strong network of institutional investor contacts including hedge funds, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds.
- Deep understanding of Bitcoin, digital assets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to institutional clients.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product and engineering departments.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
