Job Description
This role focuses on driving business growth and expansion in the Chinese-speaking and Asian target markets for contract trading. The candidate will be responsible for identifying high-value partnership opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving monthly trading volume targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Growth: Expand contract trading business in target markets, identify high-value opportunities, and achieve monthly trading volume goals.
- Channel & Community Expansion: Develop and maintain partnerships with channels, introducing brokers (IBs), institutions, and KOLs, with a focus on Chinese-speaking and Asian trading communities, Telegram/Discord quant groups, and Southeast/East Asian trader circles.
- Partnership Management: Serve as the official representative to establish and maintain strategic alliances with trading KOLs, IBs, trading academies, and copy-trading teams.
- IB System Development: Recruit and nurture regional master agents, build an efficient IB system, and optimize affiliate/referral programs.
- Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute marketing initiatives (trading competitions, incentive programs, co-marketing) to enhance brand influence and user engagement in Asian markets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product and operations teams to gather market feedback and improve contract trading products and user experience.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in BD or sales at a Web3 cryptocurrency exchange.
- Performance: Minimum average monthly contract trading volume of $50M.
- Networks: Established connections with local clients, trading communities, KOLs, or partners in Chinese-speaking or Asian markets (Southeast Asia, East Asia, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Hyperliquid Ecosystem: Familiarity with Hyperliquid’s products and mechanisms; prior experience with on-chain perpetual contracts is a plus.
- DEX/On-Chain Derivatives: Experience in BD for decentralized exchange (DEX) contracts and knowledge of perpetual contracts/on-chain trading ecosystems.
- Top Exchange Background: Prior BD experience at a Top 20 CEX or Top 5 Perp DEX.
- Traditional Finance: Experience in business development or sales for CFDs, forex, commodities, or financial derivatives.
Bonus Skills
- Deep understanding of major trading platforms (Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Hyperliquid).
- Active trader with hands-on contract trading experience.
- Experience in building user growth systems from scratch.
- Knowledge of DeFi, RWA, and on-chain asset issuance/trading ecosystems.
Compensation
Base salary + performance-based commission.
