Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development (BD) and Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our derivatives trading platform's user base and establishing strategic partnerships in target regions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to grow the derivatives trading user base in target regions.
  • Build and manage long-term partnerships with institutional clients and key ecosystem players.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, user needs, and competitor activities to inform product and service enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams to optimize product offerings and marketing campaigns for target markets.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to expand professional network and business opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on business development metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in business development within financial services or fintech industry
  • Proven track record of successfully expanding user base and building strategic partnerships
  • Strong understanding of derivatives trading products and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment
  • Fluency in English and at least one other major language relevant to target markets
  • Willingness to travel as needed for business development purposes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Existing network of contacts in the financial services industry
  • Experience working with institutional clients in target regions
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for derivatives trading in key markets
  • Data analysis skills to evaluate business opportunities and performance metrics
