Job Description:
We are a Web3 exchange in the late cold-start phase, poised to enter a period of rapid scaling growth. We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Operations to lead our platform's full lifecycle operations—from user acquisition, engagement, and retention to conversion. This role will involve deep collaboration in product planning, building data-driven campaigns and agent mechanisms, and guiding the team to achieve revenue breakthroughs from 0 to 1. The ideal candidate must possess a keen understanding of Web3 user psychology, meticulous attention to operational details, and the ability to iterate quickly in a highly uncertain environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall Operational Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive operational strategy aligned with the company's growth stage (late cold-start to early scaling), defining phased objectives, key pathways, and resource allocation.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, technology, and compliance teams to ensure operational strategies align with the company’s broader vision.
- Core Operational Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DAU/MAU, trading volume, retention rate, churn rate, and customer support feedback.
- User Growth & Lifecycle Management: Deeply understand Web3 user behavior, build user segmentation models (new users, active users, high-net-worth users, churned users, etc.), and design targeted activation, retention, re-engagement, and monetization strategies (e.g., onboarding tasks, check-in rewards, trading rebates, airdrop incentives).
- Campaign System & Full-Cycle Management: Develop standardized campaign SOPs from scratch, covering theme planning, goal setting, budget allocation, risk assessment, KPI design, execution, and post-campaign optimization. Conduct user research and competitor analysis to ensure campaigns meet market demand and user expectations.
- Agent/Referral System Operations: Design and optimize multi-tiered agent and referral incentive mechanisms, balancing short-term growth with long-term ecosystem health. Build agent data models and dashboards (e.g., agent tiers, sub-agent activity, commission distribution, fraud detection) to dynamically adjust profit-sharing rules and entry thresholds.
- Product Roadmap Coordination: Actively participate in product planning (MVP → cold-start → scaling) and provide data-backed recommendations on feature rollouts, token listing schedules, and campaign alignment.
- User-Centric Product Insights: Regularly use the platform as an end-user to identify friction points, bottlenecks, or trust gaps in the experience.
- Revenue Breakthrough: Design scalable monetization paths and drive users toward their first payment or transaction.
- Team Leadership & Process Optimization: Build and lead an operations team (including user ops, campaign ops, agent ops, and data analysis roles) with clear responsibilities and OKRs. Establish standardized documentation, knowledge bases, and SOPs to ensure replicability and smooth onboarding.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in internet/fintech/trading platform operations, with at least 4 years focused on Web3, cryptocurrency, or related fields.
- Proven track record of driving user growth and revenue from 0 to 1 or during cold-start phases.
- Expertise in user lifecycle management, campaign planning, and dashboard setup (SQL/Looker/Metabase proficiency is a plus).
- Familiarity with mainstream Web3 product logic and ability to collaborate effectively with product teams.
- Strong empathy and user sensitivity—must "think like a user."
- Results-driven, capable of making quick decisions and executing under resource constraints and incomplete information.
- Fluent in English for global user/agent interactions; Chinese as the working language.
