Job Description
The Web3 Server-Side QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of server-side products in the Web3 ecosystem. This role involves comprehensive testing activities to maintain high standards of functionality, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing of Web3 server-side products to ensure functional and system quality.
- Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and develop test plans and strategies.
- Design and execute test cases, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Build and maintain test environments, track defects, and perform root cause analysis.
- Apply various testing methodologies such as functional, performance, security, reliability, and API testing.
- Utilize automation testing tools and independently develop or maintain test scripts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive issue resolution and quality improvements.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Go, Python, or Shell.
- Familiarity with Linux development environments and common command-line tools.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL databases and SQL, with the ability to construct test data and environments.
- Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in complex systems.
- High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and commitment to quality standards.
- Understanding of blockchain technology or Web3 products is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing Web3, cryptocurrency, or on-chain data applications.
- Background in testing distributed systems or high-concurrency services.
- Experience building automation testing frameworks or implementing CI/CD pipelines.
